Hello there! I’m Joseph Thomas, a writer, speaker, comedian, and 5th-generation funeral home kid currently living in Memphis, Tennessee with my wife (Natalie), our three kids, and one dog.
I’m a storyteller who loves making people laugh, especially at hard topics–like death and grief, for example–a performer and co-founder of the Memphis Improv Alliance, and a contributor for a variety of publications including humor sites and actual, real-life newspapers.
With over 20 years in funeral service (before making my gracious exit in 2026) I’m an absolute blast at parties and have perfected the art of responding to the comment, “I bet people are just dying to see you.”
